Pattern Machining

Users can use pattern machining when they need to machine one or more machining process(es) repeatitively. The machining process(es) can be arranged with designated pattern such as linear, circular, or rectangular.

INCAM-M25 provides users with five patterns: line pattern, grid pattern, arc pattern, mirroring and rotating, and patch pattern. Users can designate the machining process to be repeatitively machined by setting the number of the referenced machining process. Users can also set the coordinate system’s zero point of the pattern machining by setting values in X Position, Y Position, and Z Position columns.

A rectangular pocket machining process whose size is 10´10´10mm is taken for example as the referenced machining process. The simulation results using the five patterns are shown in the figures below.

NOTE: Patch pattern machining is to arrange the designated machining process according to the set conditions. If the count condition is set "<" or "=", the system will fill the chosen machining process one by one in the blank area on the material until the count condition is satisfied. If the count condition is set ">", the system will fill the chosen machining process one by one in the blank area on the material until there is no blank area.
